The three price tiers, explained
The Classic tier (from €140) shares a basket with up to 16–20 other passengers and is the option most first-time flyers choose. The Private tier (from €400) reserves the whole basket for your own group, which most couples and families prefer for space and photos. The Royal tier (from €550) adds a breakfast served at altitude or in a private kasbah setting — usually booked for proposals and anniversaries.
Why "hot air balloon Marrakech price" searches show such different numbers
Two things explain most of the spread you'll see across booking sites: whether the quote is for a shared or private basket, and whether hotel transfer and breakfast are bundled in or sold separately. A "from $80" headline almost always refers to the cheapest shared seat, not a private flight.
What's usually excluded
Tipping the pilot and ground crew is customary but not mandatory, typically €5–10 per person. Professional in-flight photography, if offered, is often a paid add-on. Alcoholic drinks at breakfast (where available) may also cost extra.
Paying online
You can reserve with a 20% deposit and settle the rest on the morning of the flight, or pay the full amount upfront — by PayPal/card or, for Moroccan residents, by instant bank transfer. See the exact breakdown on our pricing page.
